Dalibor  Rubido  was born in Sisak, Croatia in 1971. He graduated the Academy  of Fine Arts in Zagreb, in 1994. He was honoured as the best graduate of his class. Rubido also  studies sculpture at the School of Applied  Arts in Zagreb. He has exhibited in  several one man shows and  group exhibitions not only paintings but also his  sculptures, ceramics and furniture. In his younger days he was active as a  sportsman in rowing. Later on, as a result of his increasing preoccupation  with  painting, he gave up rowing, but his love for water led him  to take up free  diving. He expresses his love for nature in general, and for water in particular, through visual means
